Xbox's Avatar Era Ends: A Farewell to the Xbox One Avatars

In a surprising announcement, Microsoft revealed plans to discontinue the Xbox Avatar Editor app on January 9th, 2025. This decision marks the end of an era for Xbox One Avatars, the customizable digital representations that have been a part of the Xbox ecosystem for years. Why is this happening? Once the Avatar Editor app is discontinued, you will no longer be able to access your Xbox One Avatar or any of the items you've purchased for it.
